Complete Mechanics

1. The promotion period is from April 1 to June 30, 2024.


2. Participants who are 18 to 40 years old, currently live in the Philippines, and have public TikTok accounts are qualified to join the promo.


3. How do I join?

    • Qualified participants must create a 30 to 90 second video of themselves showing their favorite dining experience at Buffalo’s Wings N’ Things in a fun and creative way. It must be creative and feature their favorite treats and flavors at Buffalo’s!


    • The created video must be posted publicly on the qualified participant’s TikTok account and must include the hashtag #BWNTFlavorExperienceShowdown and tag @bwntph.


    • After posting, participants must submit a link and a copy of their posted TikTok video on the following form https://bwntph.com/ShowdownEntry from April 1 to June 30, 2024 (11:59 p.m) with the following details: complete name, mailing address, contact number, email, link of TikTok video and a copy of their video entry.


4. Video guidelines:

    • 30 to 90 seconds long and uploaded to the participant’s personal TikTok account. The TikTok account and video entry must be set to public.
    • 9:16 ratio
    • At least 1080p
    • MP4 format
    • Maximum file size of 500 mb

5. The deadline for submission of entries is on June 30, 2024.


6. The winners will be chosen on July 10, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. with a DTI representative at Buffalo Wings N’ Things head office located at 123 Pioneer Street, Mandaluyong City. Chosen winners will be announced on BWNT PH’s social media accounts on July 15, 2024.


7. Determination of winners

    • Criteria for Judging:
      • Originality (25%): Uniqueness and freshness of your video concept. Judges will consider how well your idea stands out from others, looking for innovative approaches, storytelling techniques, or visual elements that set your video apart.


      • Creativity and Execution (50%): Judges will evaluate the creative elements, including cinematography, editing, sound design, and overall artistic expression. This criterion also emphasizes how effectively you bring your vision to life, examining the technical proficiency, attention to detail, and overall production quality of your video.


      • Effective Communication of the Theme (25%): This criterion gauges how well your video conveys the contest theme or message. Judges will assess the clarity and coherence of your storytelling, ensuring that your video effectively communicates the intended theme or message to the audience.


    • Video entries will be judged by the following representatives:
      • John Lee - Chairperson
      • Max Lee - Vice Chairperson
      • Rommel Ng - President
      • Kris Guillermo - Marketing Manager


    • In case of a tie, the judges will review the video entries, deliberate the score and choose the winners.


8. Thirteen (13) winners will be chosen with the following prizes:

    • Grand Prize (1 winner): PhP 50,000 cash
    • 2nd Place (1 winner): PhP 30,000 cash
    • 3rd Place (1 winner): PhP 10,000 cash
    • Consolation Prizes (10 winners): BWNT Gift Certificates worth PhP 2,000/each

9. Tax (including 20% withholding tax for prizes exceeding P10,000.00) and other expenses that will be incurred in relation to the prize shall be shouldered by Buffalo’s Wings N’ Things.


The cash prizes are non-transferable. While the consolation prizes of Gift Certificates are not convertible to cash but transferrable, and has no expiry.


10. The chosen winners shall be notified via registered mail, email and SMS, and their names will be posted on BWNT’s social media pages.


11. A participant may only win once. If the participant qualifies for more than 1 prize, the winner must get the prize with a higher value.


12. Winners may claim their prize in the form of a check at BWNT’s corporate office located at 123 Pioneer Street, Mandaluyong City. They have 60 days to redeem their prize upon notification via registered mail. Winners residing in provincial areas may request to receive their prize by bank deposit if unable to visit the corporate office in Metro Manila. If so, they must inform BWNT and must provide their bank details


13. To claim the prize, winners must present one (1) valid government issued ID. If claiming thru an authorized representative, winners must present an signed authorization letter with the complete name and ID of the authorized representative.


14. Prizes should be claimed within sixty (60) days from the receipt of registered notice or it will be forfeited in favor of Buffalo’s Wings N’ Things with prior approval of DTI.


15. All employees of Buffalo’s Wings N’ Things, their partners and affiliates, their ad agency, including their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining this contest.
